Company assets are meant for business use. Controlling the proper use of such resources is essential.


Prohibited:

Accessing illicit sites on company computers and/or in the workplace.


Misuse of company provided access to email and internet.


Propagating or sharing information and/or data that should not be exchanged.

Permitted:

Limited use of company email for personal needs is allowed when it does not interfere with regular work and does not compromise the integrity of the company or its systems.


Use the means of communication appropriate to the message and situation to be addressed particularly when dealing with conflicts.


Brief access to personal email sites through company internet access is allowed as long as it does not cause harm or delay to company systems.






What are some examples of social media use that violates our policies?

A: When using social media, whether outside of or at work or in connection with your work, you should never use the Spectrum logo or copyrighted materials without permission; never represent or leave the impression that the views you express are the views of our company.
